DRIVER'S LICENSE

Once you have completed an online renewal, you can find out when your license is printed and mailed by viewing our DL/ID Card Tracking System. Enter your driver license number to track the issuance. Please allow 7 to 10 days to receive the license in the mail.

PROPERTY TAX

Walton County taxpayers can pay their ad-valorem property tax bills online with a credit card (Discover, MasterCard,Visa or American Express) or with an electronic check (E-Check). For tax items, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Google Pay payments are assessed at 2.95% with a $2.95 minimum service fee. International and Commercial cards are assessed at 3.95% with a $2.95 minimum service fee. There is no service fee for bank accounts (e-checks). E-check payments are free with no additional charges. Please have your property tax account number from your tax bill.

TAX CERTIFICATE

The Tax Certificate Sale is held yearly and concluded at the close of business on June 1. Results of the sale are available on the sale site. Certificates struck to the county will be available online for purchase at 8 AM on July 1. The sale site www.lienhub.com

Those interested in purchasing county held certificates will be required to register online to obtain a bidder number, complete an IRS W-9 form, and pay the face amount of the tax certificate plus a $6.25 per certificate purchase fee.

The county held certificates will be sold in a similar fashion to the “Buy It Now” feature on Ebay. Interested bidders should register at the sale site prior toJuly 1 to ensure all banking information is available upon the start of the sale.
